The 12,500 counts projects and events across our venue partnerships, staging and live events, and commercial integration. The 97% is a share of clients, not of projects: it counts every client who came back for a second engagement of any kind.
Service is our first name
David Delaney, our founder, and James Mancino met working at the Bellevue Red Lion. They could both see that the Seattle market had no customer-first option for AV. In November 2001 they founded us to be one.
Hotels, then shows, then buildings
Commercial integration is the youngest thing we do. It is also the one that inherited the most.
We started inside hotels. In 2002 we ran a hotel's AV department for the first time, as the house. The house has nobody to hand a problem to. We lived with whatever the building already had, so we learned to find out what that was before we added anything to it.
In 2007 we started producing live events, and the position reversed. We became the outside production company, walking into buildings we did not run, where nothing is as described until someone has checked it.
In 2015 we took both habits into commercial integration. In a commercial building, the thing already there that decides whether AV works is the network. So we look at the network before we look at the room. Integration started in 2015. The habit behind it started in 2002.
