What the work is like
We do three kinds of work: we integrate commercial AV into buildings, we produce live events, and we run the AV department inside a hotel, resort or casino under a venue partnership. A few things hold across all of it.
- Three named people are accountable for every show. A Producer owns scope, budget and delivery. A Project Manager owns the schedule, the paperwork and the weekly written status. A Technical Director owns the technical design and everything that happens on site.
- Safety calls are not up for negotiation. Rigging, power, structural and weather calls belong to the Technical Director. Nobody overrides them for schedule or budget: not the client, and not us.
- Nothing goes into a show that we have not had our hands on first. That rule came out of one overnight failure, and it is policy.
- An install starts on the network. We survey the site and audit the network before anyone designs a room.
- We tell clients the thing they did not want to hear. Including when it does not help us sell anything.
